These are a few of my recent works with pastel on paper and sandpaper. I enjoy painting the landscape and the many views of the rivers and lakes I visit. This brings me very close to the subject matter and creates a lasting attachment and deep fondness for the locations I visit and its many inhabitants!

"Cardinal Lake" is the title of this piece. It is a lovely, peaceful place and the people who live there are fortunate indeed for their little haven in the midst of a growing city. Original pastel matted and mounted under glass.
"Platte River in Gold." Original pastel,
mounted under glass with wood frame.
The scene above is entitled "Summer Tango" because that day had the energy of the dance. This is original pastel and can be purchased unframed or framed.
I especially love to capture dramatic sunrises and sunsets as we have an abundance of them everywhere and they are all beautiful and never one the same.
